Pastoral Care
The atmosphere of caring for students is further strengthened by the pastoral care structure within the School.
At Holy Spirit Catholic Primary, we have a range of services available, including a counsellor to help students to deal with many of the challenges faced by young people.
Be You (formally Kidsmatter) and the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework
Be You is a national mental health initiative for educators which aims to promote and protect positive mental health in children and young people in every learning service and school in Australia. This includes our children from our Community of Learners right through to our primary aged children.
Be You has a vision, which is to build an education system in which every learning community is positive, inclusive and resilient.
Be You is for all Australian educators across early learning, primary and secondary schools (early to 18 years of age).
Be You offers a range of online, evidence-based tools, resources and professional learning aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of educators to support mental health and wellbeing in children and young people.
Be You is led by Beyond Blue with delivery partners Early Childhood Australia and headspace. It builds on the successes and learnings from:
